I believe that childbirth is a natural process and that women have the right to make informed decisions about their care. I strive to provide personalized, evidence-based care that empowers women and their families. Birth is a very personal experience that differs greatly for every women. Whatever your ideal birth looks like (medicated or non-medicated, hospital, birth center or home birth) I want to support you and help you reach your goals.

As a birth doula, I offer two prenatal visits,  labor and delivery support, birth photography and one to two postpartum visits with breastfeeding support, and more.

As a postpartum doula, I offer individualized care depending on what the family needs.

The first thing that will happen is we will talk and make sure that your estimated due date and my availably line up.  If it does we will set up a time to meet in person. At that meeting you'll decide if you want to work with me and I'll decide if I want to work with you. If either of us doesn't feel like we're a good match, I will try to help you connect with some other doulas so you can find your kindred spirit. This might sound awkward but inviting someone into your birth story is such a huge gift that you have to be sure they're the right person. When we both decide to work together we will schedule another time to meet up where we'll sign a contract and go over what you're hoping your birth will look like.  From that point on I am available to you as a resource 24/7. When your labor begins, if you want to labor at home for awhile, I can come over when things start getting more intense and help with comfort measures. Or I can meet you at the hospital at any time. After the baby is born, I will stay for about an hour, until everything settles a bit, and then head out. Sometime in the following week I will swing by your house and check in and make sure all is well on the home-front. While that visit does officially end our contract, I love to stay in touch with my clients. Connecting through social media and being able to watch your baby grow is very special to me and one of my favorite things! 

Birth Doula Package: 2-3 Prenatal visits, continuous support throughout labor and delivery, birth photos (if desired), 1-2 postpartum visits. 24/7 access through calls and texts for the duration of the contract. $1,000

Postpartum Doula Care: An individualized care plan for any portion of the first 12 weeks. $30/hr

First 12 Months Infant Care: Varies depending on client needs but can include day time, over night and travel infant care. $30-$50/hr

If you are unable to pay my fee, there is an application for financial assistance available. The assistance can vary depending on the need. For each paying doula client I have, I will donate half of my fee to be used for Blessing moms who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford a doula. If I am not able to offer my service personally, I will use funds from the Blessings account to help you find and pay for one. This service requires an application and available Blessings funds. If you want a doula, I want to help you get one.
