I have been a practicing doula since 2004. I strive to provide compassionate and personalized care for all of my clients. I am married to a great guy and we have four really sweet kids who were born in 2001, 2002 and twins in 2007. My kids had very different births and they were all four very special to me. My goal as a doula is to help my clients have the birth experience that they desire. Home birth, birth center or hospital. Non medicated or medicated. What is your ideal birth experience and how can we work towards making it a reality?
I am a DONA trained birth and postpartum doula. I have studied a variety of childbirth education methods (The Bradley Method, HypnoBirthing, HypnoBabies, ICEA), lactation counseling, rebozo, and Spinning Babies.
I offer a full range of doula services including prenatal visits, labor and birth support & postpartum care (12 weeks after birth). I also offer day and overnight childcare services for the first 12 months after birth.
All paying clients will be giving the gift of a doula to a mom who can't afford one. Half of my doula fee will be used to bless a mom who otherwise wouldn't have access to a doula.

Stacie was an amazing doula, I would absolutely recommend her! I was looking for a doula that was open, kind and supportive. During pregnancy she was helpful and easy to talk to about my birth plan/hopes/wishes. During labor she was available immediately and helped me labor at home for hours. Her ability to help me with positioning, provide counter pressure, and reassurance made laboring at home for a long time possible. I am positive there is no way I would have been able to have an unmedicated hospital birth without her support. Even though we were only at the hospital a short time before birth, her help during that short time was immense--communicating with hospital staff when I wasn't able to, reminding me/providing items I wanted access to but had forgotten about (like my sleep mask to block out distractions), updating hospital staff on everything they needed. I know my husband wasn't up to these tasks and felt so taken care of with Stacie there to help. It was important to me to have a doula that was flexible and non-judgmental, someone who would support me without pushing their own agenda or making me feel pressured to have a certain type of birth--Stacie ended up being the best support person!
Stacie was recommended by a woman I met in passing and I count myself so lucky to have found her. We wanted an intimate experience so it was Stacie, my husband and I, and the medical team. Looking back I wouldn't change a thing. Her kindness and love of being a doula is 100% sincere. She is totally down-to-earth and incredibly intuitive. She just always knew what to do and say during my very, very long labor, stepping back when I needed it and stepping right back in when I needed it. She was there for me before, during and after my birth. When I think about the happiest day of my life, I think about my beautiful daughter, my wonderful husband and the best doula I could have hoped for.
Stacie is the best doula I could have asked for. She supported me through my labor and delivery with encouragement, kindness and ease. After birthing twins 13 years prior, with an epidural, I had a personal goal to birth my daughter unmedicated in a hospital setting. Stacie was there with every step of the way and brought a sense of ease to my husband. After 10 hours of labor, my baby girl arrived and I couldn't have been happier with the process.
Stacie is the best doula ever! She helped us through the birth of our first child with beautiful hypnobirthing support. Birth coaching for the mom to be and helping husbands/partners to know how to support their wives is the only way to do one of the most amazing and challenging things a woman can ever do. I had a tough birth, 22 hours, back labor, sunny side up kiddo with her hand by her face and Stacie helped and supported me through every challenge! Definitely rebozo those babies before they are born because my second was 9 hours and still challenging but much easier when they face the right way! Stacie is a wonderful and loving person, the best doula ever!!!
Stacie was truly a blessing for us and just at the right time. Giving birth and following postpartum time is so special yet so vulnerable where you want someone that can help your family through it. Stacie was there postpartum for us but I would have definitely asked her to be there for our baby’s birth if that opportunity was available to us. How lucky a mama could be to get her for both birth and postpartum! To have the continuous care like this would be so nice. She has a calming, sweet, yet confident presence that makes you & your family feel peace and comfort. I have a hard time giving my baby to others for help including family. My baby is now 7 months and to this day only a handful of people have held her. There is something about Stacie that makes you feel at ease when she cares for your baby. It’s like she knew what baby wanted or needed even better than we did! There were times when we worked on consoling baby for an hour before she came and then she would take the baby and calm her down in seconds. We would tell her how it’s been going for us with baby and she would have some great suggestions that really helped. She never judged our parenting or cared if we followed every advice she had, she would even know just what to say to comfort us from worries we had. Even little things that matter a lot like washing hands before handling baby without us having to ask. Stacie made such a positive impact through a loving but trying time for us and we feel blessed to still have her in our lives after she was our doula.
Stacie is an angel. My first pregnancy was with triplets and she was a god-send. She was there for me like no one else. With every question, she was there helping me find an answer. Through my birth, at 24 weeks, came great heartbreak and the loss of my two boys. Stacie was there with me every step, every phone call that had to be made, and for every question asked she was there. She is everything to me and my children.
I HIGHLY recommend Stacie for Doula Services. She was our Doula for 2 of my pregnancies and helped ease my husband's and my mind of all anxiety. As a first-time mom, she helped us stay on track with our birth plan and was great at reminding us that we have a voice when it comes to our birth. Because of her knowledge and guidance, I successfully birthed my first born as close to our birth plan as possible. With my second pregnancy, my blood pressure raised again toward the end, and with my husband out of town, Stacie was my rock. She was always available for me if I needed anything and was so calming. I thought I was going to be induced at 37 weeks, but I actually ended up birthing my daughter at 41 weeks! Not only is Stacie amazing during the pregnancy and birth, but she also offered after birth help. We couldn't be happier with our choice in having her as our Doula.
